Lake's Unlimited, Inc. has manufactured the Lake's Ultimate
Avian Diets since February 11, 1987. The Lake's company was originally incorporated
by its founder Cheryl Lake, a macaw breeder, as Lake's Minnesota Macaws, Inc.
on March 3, 1987. For the first two years, the Lake's diets were known as
"Lake's Parrot Buffet". When we couldn't get the registered trademark on
"Buffet", we registered just "Lake's" as our trademark. The Lake's diets have
been manufactured at the same mill since conception, and it is located approximately
40 miles away from our main office in St. Paul, MN. At the mill location, we
have our own warehouse, packaging machinery, and a state-of-the art hammer mill
(for our hand-rearing), etc.
